A commentator asks, “Why do they hate Israel so much? It is just a tiny little country, situated on a small strip of land, surrounded by huge Muslim countries. So, why not leave them alone?”
Sir, there is this one book that explains it all; I highly recommend that you pick up a copy of this book we call the Bible. You can start in Genesis, where the war began; in a garden. Then move on to Abraham and a Covenant with God.
Continue reading until you come to
Isaiah 9:6 “Unto us a child is born; unto us a Son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace THERE SHALL BE NO END.”
Move on until you see the verse from Isaiah fulfilled and then the Crucifixion. Are you beginning to get the picture?
Satan couldn’t destroy God’s creation in the Garden, so he began to war against the plan of God. After Abraham, there are 3 main figures in every scenario…God, Satan and God’s chosen people; Israel; the Jews.
So it isn’t really about a tiny little country or a war of flesh and blood or even between the “Sons of Abraham”; Isaac and Ishmael. It is a Spiritual War between God, Satan and God’s Covenant of Faith; a war between good and evil; Satan’s one last chance to overthrow God.
Move to the last set of chapters in that book you are holding; THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.
Revelation 21:1-3 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Do you see what is missing? Yep, you got it…Satan. God is still in the picture, there is a new Jerusalem; His people are still present…evil lost; GOD IS VICTORIOUS.
